The painful memories of 3.11 Tsunami. After one year…

I just cameback from north. MinamiSanriku was one of the places that was hit badly by the Tsunami last year.Watch this video with the attitude of gratitude and pray for those who died this day and those who survived too. Last year, on 3.13 like today, they were still many survivors under pile of debris. It was cold and they were hoping for help.
God bless their souls.

What a sad day it was 2011.3.11. In my visit this time I met many of the survivors who actually saw this Live. They said that their life will never be the same because of this day. Some decided to blame themselves for not helping their loved ones and letting them die, they were scared, confused and became powerless for few minutes. Some were grateful for having another chance to live. Some also decided to use this story as a powerful tool to remind the world that we can still survive in such tragic events. They said that this is a miracle, that because of this event we must be prepared and take good care of each other otherwise we might loose everything in a heartbeat.

With my Rescue dog “Happy” searching for survivors. This is Sasaki san’s house that was unfortunately gone by the Tsunami and nothing was left. Both husband and wife were washed away and no remaining.

I am going back tomorrow for a few days to spend sometime with some of the survivors of the Tsunami that I met last year in MinamiSanriku. I am sure my presence will mean something to them & it is a great feeling to heal them with my love and heart.                                                                                                                                                      

This is a good time to do something special for the people of Tohoku. Don’t hesitate.

“The Secret to Living is Giving!”

Santa in Miyagi,

After my second visit to Minamisanriku on my birthday on Nov 22nd, some of the kids who have lost their parents during the Tsunami on 3.11 asked me some questions about Santa. I guess they wanted to know if I could go back and give them some more love & happiness. Well, I did and this year I created some of the most fulfilling moments of my life by caring for strangers. I really realized how powerful it is to care for those we don’t know. Well as you know, I think a bit differently with most people and I really believe that we are one family on this planet. There are many of our family members that we have not met yet. That’s all. So I did care for the members of my family and I took my wife, my little girl and we went there and had the greatest X’mas. It was just amazing and we created some magic moments. Below are some of the photos we took.

We gave three copies of my recent book “From Desperation to Inspiration” to the Minamisanriku Library for those who love to rent it and be inspired for their new life.
